Sigma Ontario held its first meeting under President Deb Parker for the 2022-2023 year. Liz Pomeroy hosted us on the deck in her lovely backyard and the weather cooperated nicely. We munched on appetizers, provided by each of us and thoroughly enjoyed catching up with our summer activities and stories of start-up from our working members. We had a wonderful time of remembrance for Marg Taws, who passed away in August at the very near age of 102. September 5th would have been her birthday. Bubbles were blown in celebration and spirit for Marg, who lived her life with joy, laughter and a sparkle in her eye each day. We will miss her deeply. Carrie Raybould wrote Marg a heartfelt letter that outlined how much she meant to us all. We also planned and discussed many different ideas and meeting possibilities for the upcoming year with our Sigma sisters. A wonderful way to begin the year.💕
