Tau donation to music program

On behalf of Tau Chapter, Shirley O’Mara presented a music teacher from Queen Elizabeth P:S. in Oshawa with a cheque of $400.00. The money came from Tau Chapter’s Loonie Bin fund. Tau sisters contribute a loonie or two each meeting to go toward an exemplary music program at a needy school in the Durham region. As seen in the photo, this year’s recipient is using the money to purchase sets of “boomwhackers” – percussion instruments. Tau is pleased to support this enthusiastic and accomplished teacher and, her program which exemplify “Excellence in Education.”
